The Canary/Yellow OB Peacock is a stunning African cichlid prized for its vibrant yellow coloration and distinctive OB (Orange Blotch) patterning. Males display intense golden-yellow hues with bold orange markings, while females exhibit the characteristic OB pattern with orange blotches on a lighter base. These peaceful peacocks thrive in established aquariums with moderate water flow and plenty of rocky structures for territory definition. They reach 4–5 inches at maturity and pair well with other peaceful cichlids in 55-gallon or larger setups. Canary Peacocks are hardy feeders that readily accept quality cichlid pellets, flakes, and occasional live foods. A true showpiece for any African cichlid enthusiast.
